Metropolitan Police Authority: Final full Authority meeting

The last meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority, prior to the inauguration of the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, will be held in meeting room 1 (ground floor), 10 Dean Farrar Street, London SW1 on Thursday 12 January 2012 at 10.00 a.m.

The meeting is open to members of the public and press, and everyone is welcome to attend.

The Chair of the MPA will give an oral update on key issues or events since the last Authority meeting.

Members will also discuss:

  • Report by the MPA Civil Liberties Panel on the policing of public protest: outlining progress of the MPS against the recommendations of the Panel’s review Responding to G20 and identifying areas for further improvement
  • Treasury management: half year report 1 April to 30 September 2011
  • MPA retrospective: the significant activities and achievements of the MPA
  • MPA final report: committee responsibilities and arrangements for continuing such work within the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime
